ERSY60 - Compact and efficient radar modules

Overview

The products in the ER series are optimized for the smallest possible form factor and are therefore extremely space-saving. They comprise a set of radar chips on an optimized high-frequency carrier board, which can be soldered onto standard boards. The supplied C-Library can be adapted to common ARM systems and enables simple communication and data processing by controlling all high-frequency parameters and radar signal processing. An evaluation module with a graphical user interface and real-time display of the data is also available for evaluating the modules.

Hardware

Module ERSY60I13

The ERSY60I13 module has a size of about 13 x 13 mm² and operates in the 60 GHz ISM band. It contains one transmitting and three receiving antennas. The resulting angular resolution enables the angle to the radar target to be estimated.

  • Reflectivity of the target

Module ERSY60I11

The ERSY60I11 module has a size of about 13 x 11 mm² and operates in the 60 GHz ISM band. It contains one transmitting and one receiving antenna. An optional dielectric lens can be used to focus the beam and extend the range.

Evaluation board and software

We also offer an evaluation board for the ER series modules. The graphical software environment supplied enables the measurement data to be evaluated in real time and provides full access to all system parameters and raw data.
