Dr.-Ing. Benedict Scheiner (co-founder)
Benedict Scheiner studied medical engineering and electrical engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg and the Universitat Politècnica de Valencía. He then worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Electronics Engineering at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and conducted research on high-frequency sensors for non-contact measurement of the torque of rotating shafts. He successfully completed his doctorate in 2021 and has been working as a group leader at the Chair of Technical Electronics ever since.
Benedict Scheiner has been co-founder and managing director of Sykno since 2019. He has more than 40 publications in the fields of high-frequency systems for industrial sensor technology, RF simulations of high-frequency circuits and EMC as well as in the field of algorithmics and microcontroller programming for sensor systems.
Benedict Scheiner is a member of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) and the German Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE). He works on a voluntary basis as a reviewer for specialist journals and international conferences.
Dr.-Ing. Fabian Michler (co-founder)
Fabian Michler studied electrical engineering and information technology at TU Darmstadt and the University of Illinois, specializing in communications engineering. He then worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Technical Electronics at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and researched radar systems for contactless measurement of human vital signs. He successfully completed his doctorate in 2022.
Fabian Michler has been co-founder and managing director of Sykno since 2019. He has more than 50 publications in the fields of non-contact vital signs sensor technology, radar system design and in the field of mobile communications (EMF).
Fabian Michler is a member of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) and the German Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE). He works on a voluntary basis as a reviewer for specialist journals and international conferences.
